A ground-up website redesign for a sustainable food brand, combining editorial storytelling with a seamless e-commerce experience.
Greenleaf Organics had outgrown their Shopify template. Their product line had expanded from 12 to 80+ SKUs, they'd launched a subscription box, and their content team was publishing weekly recipes and farm stories. They needed a digital home that could do justice to all of it.
We designed and built a custom platform on Next.js with a headless CMS, giving their editorial and e-commerce teams independent workflows that converge on the frontend. The design language draws from organic forms — soft curves, earthy tones, generous whitespace — but with the precision and speed users expect from modern e-commerce. Every product page tells a story: where the ingredients are sourced, who grows them, and why it matters.
Page load times dropped from 4.8s to 1.2s. Conversion rate improved 34% in the first quarter post-launch. But the metric Greenleaf cares about most: average time on the "Our Farms" story pages jumped to 6.1 minutes, proving their customers genuinely engage with the brand's mission, not just the products.
